Quercetin Phytosome™
Quercetin is a polyphenol in the flavone class of flavonoids. Naturally
found in fruits and vegetables, these bioflavonoids are found to have
positive effects on histamine response, immune system modulation, and
platelet aggregation inhibition. In various studies, quercetin has been
shown to have marked antioxidant properties. It also supports a healthy
immune response, and may reduce the intensity of allergenic response
by preventing immune cells from releasing histamine.
Our Quercetin Phytosome™ is a patented form of quercetin.
Phytosomes™ are created by a patented process that binds an herbal
extract to a phospholipid, creating the Phytosome™ Complex. This
complex easily crosses the cell wall resulting in greater bioavailability
than the extract alone.
Perilla Seed Extract
Perilla Seed Extract contains polyphenols that may help support normal
histamine levels and inflammatory responses. The major polyphenolic
compounds in perilla seed extract are rosmarinic acid and leuteolin.
Luteolin has significant inhibitory action against lipoxygenase enzymes
that support normal inflammatory processes. Rosmarinic acid is a
superoxide scavenger that has powerful antioxidant effects. Together
the active components of Perilla seed may help reduce occasional
discomfort associated with various dermatological conditions. The oil
from the perilla seed is a very rich source of alpha-linoleic acid, which is
important for skin health.
Oligonol®
Oligonol® is a patented, low-molecular weight polyphenolic extract
derived from lychee fruit and green tea. This low weight allows for better
bioavailability than conventional long-chain polyphenols. Human clinical
trials show a threefold increase in blood concentration of Oligonol®
versus standard lychee extract. Oligonol® has been clinically shown to
increase production of nitric oxide (for improved circulation), neutralize
free radicals, support healthy levels of inflammatory cytokines, and inhibit
the enzyme collagenase – therefore promoting skin health.

Omega 3 & 6 Fatty Acids
Essential fatty acids play a vital role in the structure of cell membranes,
support of healthy skin, and normalization of inflammatory response.
This is primarily due to the role of powerful prostaglandins that support
a healthy inflammatory response, called prostaglandin E1, or PGE1, and
prostaglandin E3, or PGE3. The inclusion of EPA (omega 3) promotes the
production of PGE3, which supports a healthy inflammatory response,
due to its ability to inhibit the enzymes needed by arachidonic acid to
generate inflammation.
HyaMax® Brand Hyaluronic Acid
This branded hyaluronic acid has a unique structure that can bind 1000
times its own weight with water, which is useful for maintaining healthy,
moisturized content in the skin. With its high lubricant effect, HyaMax®
hyaluronic acid supports skin strength to bear weight, withstand tension
and endure stresses often associated with dermatological challenges.
Roughly 50% of the body’s hyaluronic acid is found in the skin as it’s vital
for maintaining the health of the skin’s layers and structure. Hyaluronic
acid acts as a space-filler in dermal layers between the skin cells.
