Profender® comes in three different sizes based on your cat’s weight:

  1. Small: for cats weighing 2.2-5.5 lbs.
  2. Medium: for cats weighing >5.5-11 lbs.
  3. Large: for cats weighing >11-17.6 lbs.
 

Profender® (emodepside/praziquantel) can be used on cats and kittens that are at least 8 weeks of age and weigh at least 2.2 lbs. Cats over 17.6 lbs. should be treated with the appropriate combination of tubes.

Caution: 

Federal (U.S.A.) law restricts Profender® (emodepside/praziquantel) to use by or on the order of a licensed veterinarian.

Use with caution in heartworm positive cats. The cats enrolled in the field study were antigen and antibody negative prior to entering the study. In a laboratory study, cats artificially infected with adult heartworms and treated with Profender® Topical Solution had fewer worms recovered than the placebo control group.

HUMAN WARNINGS: Not for human use. Keep out of reach of children. Children should not contact application site for twenty-four (24) hours.
